Proteinase as a detergent additive!
Proteases have been used in the detergent and laundry industry for more than fifty years to promote the removal of macromolecules from protein-based stains such as milk and blood. Without proteases, macromolecular dirt will condense on the material.
The protein enzymes we use are stable and active in detergent solutions and have sufficient temperature stability, yet function over a wide range of laundry temperatures.
